Reading in Delta, Pennsylvania.

On October 5, Grahame Davies, performed a reading in Delta, Pennsylvania, USA, at the local Welsh chaoel, Capel Cymraeg Rehoboth. Delta, and its neighbouring community of Cardiff, Maryland, were founded as slate-quarrying communities, and attracted many people from Wales, particularly the north west. In the graveyard in Delta are many graves with Welsh language inscriptions, including some very good memorial englynion. Many of the local people are of Welsh descent, and the chapel does terrific work as the centre of the district's Welsh heritage activities, including regular Welsh language lessons.
