Encounters with R.S. published

The volume Encounters with R.S. has been collected by Ali Anwar of the H'mm Foundation to commemorate the centenary of the great poet R.S.Thomas.

It contains essays by twelve writers, including the National Poet of Wales, Gillian Clarke, the Archbishop of Wales, Dr Barry Morgan, Peter Finch and Gwyneth Lewis. It has a foreword by John Barnie.

Grahame Davies's contribution, 'In the Chapel of the Spirit' recounts his own meetings over the years with the poet who was the subject of his own doctoral thesis.
