Welsh Premiere of Mealor's Requiem, The Souls of the Righteous

The composer Paul Mealor's Requiem, The Souls of the Righteous, with words by Grahame Davies, received its Welsh premiere at St Augustine's Church, Penarth, on Sunday November 24th with Côr CFI led by Eilir Owen Griffiths, and with the British Sinfonietta.

The Souls of the Righteous, which was commissioned by the Chapel Royal of Scotland to commemorate the centenary of the Armistice, and which received its British Premiere in St Mary's Cathedral, Edinburgh, has now been performed in many countries worldwide, including at Carnegie Hall in New York.
