Poems for opening of new Assembly building.

On St David's Day, March 1, 2006, Grahame Davies took part in the proceedings at the opening of the Senedd, the new new home for the National Assembly for Wales. In a project arranged by the Academi he worked with the Merthyr Tydfil, Welsh-language Writing Squad, comprising children from Ysgol Santes Tudful and Ysgol Rhyd y Grug, to produce poems to be read in the official celebrations of the occasion. Three poems were produced , 'Wrth Ddwr a Thân', (Through Water and Fire) 'Calon Cymru' (Heart of Wales) and 'Rwy'n Naw Mlwydd Oed', (I'm Nine Years Old) and these were read in the new building as part of the celebrations.
