Inspiration' premiered at Karl Jenkins concert.

On November 14, a specially-written piece of music by Karl Jenkins, with words by Grahame Davies, was premiered at a sell-out concert in the Wales Millennium Centre to celebrate the composer's 65th birthday, the 5th anniversary of the centre and the 10th anniversary of the National Assembly. The piece, entitled 'Ysbrydoliaeth' ('Inspiration'), was composed especially for the occasion and was performed by the massed choirs of Côrdydd, Côr Caerdydd, Aelwyd y Waun Ddyfal and Cantata, by the orchestra Sinfonia Cymru, and the harpist Catrin Finch. The event was screened on S4C on November 21.
